Each summer WW plants and maintains the window boxes at the Sugar Hill Meetinghouse in memory of Edna E Glaessel. Edna served as the Treasurer for over 30 years. This summer's boxes feature an airy mixture of purples, pinks, and white.

Over $3,000 Mid Year Donations
Willing Workers purchase milk from Hatchland Farm in North Haverhill for weekly deliveries to All Saint's Food Cupboard and Elevate Church, both in Littleton, and to Good Neighbor Pantry in Franconia. Program started May 12, 2020.
Donations continue to be received for this program.....which will extend the time frame of the operation.

To get the milk from the Hatchland Dairy to the food pantries.....Willing Workers instituted a weekly milk delivery programs. We're delighted to make fresh, delicious milk available to the food pantry clients.
President Betsy delivered Grocery Boxes and personally thanked donors of the Cookies for a Cause campaign. Over $1100 in donations were collected. A BIG THANK YOU TO HARMAN's CHEESE for sponsoring the program and to all of our generous donors!
Many thanks to Kathy J who managed Cookies for a Cause. Members generously baked over 1000 cookies.....Kathy packaged and labeled them. Generous donors received delicious cookies and many thanks!
We thank Brenda Aldrich for sponsoring Cookies for a Cause. Her generosity inspired Willing Workers to use "cookie donations" and other funds to invest $2600 of donations into the community to aid local food efforts. As Brenda says....."little by little a river is created." We're working to make a river as we "foster a spirit of helpfulness" just as Willing Workers have done for over 100 years!

WW has provided service and support to Sugar Hill and neighboring communities for over 100 years. This is the Centennial Year of our Founding. Our normal fundraising is disrupted and we are appreciative of all donations to help fulfill our mission.

The Society has enriched the fabric of our community for over 100 years by providing support at countless memorials, bringing aid to those in need, contributing to charitable services, presenting education merit awards, and hosting town social events. Their mission of fostering a spirit of helpfulness makes Sugar Hill a better home for all. The Select Board of Sugar Hill hereby declares 2020 as the Centennial Year of the Willing Workers Society of Sugar Hill.”
